Today is the birth of John Karls first radio single "Redneck Rich (Hillbilly Happy)". Many of you have shown interest in calling your local radio stations and requesting it. Please DO NOT CALL IN YET!!!!" I can not express this enough. Although the single is out, it has only been shipped to them as of right now. It will take time for them to receive it and give in a listen before they will or will not add it to their playlists. Our promotions team at Grassroots have said that if too many people call in and are requesting the song to early it will hinder the stations from playing it at all. None of us want that to happen. Please allow at least two weeks until you request the song. It has been sent to every radio station in the world and will be available for request but each radio station has their own way of doing things and report to different charts. We want this song to hit the top 10 and your requests at the right time will help it grow to that slot.
